Chartered in 1946, NEGA Council, Toccoa BSA Troop 77 has produced over 85 Eagle Scouts.

Scouts Attend Summer Camp

18 scouts from Troop 77 attended summer camp at Camp Rainey Mountain. Scouts enjoyed a week of camping as well as working on rank advancements and merit badges.

GA Elks Honnor Eagle Scout

Michael Grubbs was presented a flag and an Elks Eagle Scout Certificate recognizing him for his Eagle Scout Project. Michael designed and built an outdoor classroom complete with stage.

 


Acree Oil, BP donation

Acree Oil Company, a BP Branded Marketer servicing BP stations throughout northeast Georgia, presented a BP Fueling Communities grant donation of $6,250 to BSA Troop 77.

Appalachian Trail Hiking

Troop 77 likes to hike. In October we hiked a short section of the Appalachian Trail (AT) and hiked up Silar Bald in North Carolina for a peek at the 360 degree view of the Appalachians.

Boston Butt Fundraiser

Toccoa First United Methodist Men's Club held a Boston Butt sale fundraiser November 19th at the church. Money raised to complete new scout lodge for Troop 77 in Toccoa.
